Veronique, Owner & Instructor

Hi, I’m Veronique! I found Pilates through a back injury and quickly became a fanatic. Now 20+ years experience in the practice of Pilates, it has led me to owning my own studio and assisting clients to move better.

I am a graduate of BASI, a world renowned Pilates Institute and just last year In 2025, I completed BASI’s legacy program involving 4 stages, honing in on the most advance & diverse Pilates repertoire and teaching nuances of the Pilates method. Having also completed certificate course in Injuries and Pathologies, Back pain & pre/post Natal, I’m still always looking for the next in-depth course to grow my knowledge to assist the clients in front of me.

I hope is to bring a community based studio, offering smaller class sizes that are accessible to all and seen as a clients highlight to their day.

Pointe is now a BASI education host, ensuring training of Pilates instructors are of the highest calibre and our clients are given the best of the Pilates Method, with all apparatus available and not just in a private session.

My classes focus on the importance of postural alignment, the body’s powerhouse (the core), breath and the graceful, intuitive and challenging nature of Pilates. With a belief that enjoying exercise is fundamental to progress, classes offer a full body work out that are fun and challenging but meet the client at their level.

Tayla, Instructor

Tayla discovered Pilates after injuring her back, she quickly discovered how it transformed and healed her body. Pilates became Tayla’s passion, she was addicted after her very first reformer class and wants her clients to feel the same way. Tayla teaches with enthusiasm and passion, encouraging her clients to grow and work hard, building strength, stamina and fitness. Nothing makes Tayla happier than seeing her clients grow from strength-to-strength. When Tayla isn’t teaching you can find her taking a reformer class or at a local café studying for her dual business and science degree.

Maddie, Instructor

Maddie found Pilates through advice from her doctor, after experiencing lower back pain.  Finding her body was no longer responding well to high intensity workouts and needed a more controlled way to move, a love for Pilates was born.

In 2022 Maddie took the leap and enrolled to complete her Pilates Instructor certification and is on her way to being trained with BASI.

With the inherit desire to help others feel their best, Maddie is keen to share her passion and enthusiasm in teaching her clients what Pilates has to offer - both Mind & Body.

Nathalia, Instructor

Nathalia was born in Brazil and has a degree in physiotherapy, she’s been working with Pilates for over 15 years and is a true passion. Nathalia genuinely loves to help people improve their wellbeing through movement and always brings lots of motivation and a great lot of humour to each session. Nathalia worked with Pointe Pilates prior to having two gorgeous children, so we are all over the moon to have her back with us!

Nathalia says “It’s a real pleasure to take care of people doing what I love“

Chloe, Instructor

Chloe discovered Pilates in her teens and quickly formed a passion for the practice when she felt the benefits it had on her body from such an early age. After completing high school, Chloe’s interest in the human body and health led her to studying a Bachelor of Human Nutrition and a Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction.

With over a decade of teaching experience in Canberra, Chloe is looking forward to bringing her skills and knowledge of the Pilates method to the Pointe. Her teaching approach is both challenging and supportive, designed to push her clients towards their goals while ensuring a safe and fun experience.

Gina, Instructor

Gina has always been passionate about exercise. In her 20s, she was all about cardio; in her 30s, strength training became an obsession. But despite her dedication, she never truly felt strong in her core—and after having twins, Gina began to experience lower back pain that made her rethink everything.

That all changed when Gina found Pilates. Moving to the Sunshine Coast gave her the perfect opportunity to dive deeper into the practice, and was thrilled to find that Pointe Pilates was a host studio for BASI Pilates—one of the world’s four leading Pilates education systems.

Since completing BASI’s comprehensive training and having the honour of teaching at Pointe Pilates, Gina has truly come to understand what her husband always says: “When you love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work.”

In her practice and teaching, Gina strongly believes in the balance between strength training and Pilates for long-term health and vitality. True Pilates builds strength from the inside out—especially in the Powerhouse: the pelvis and spine. Gina’s classes reflect this belief, combining the foundational principles of the BASI system with elements of strength training to support both form and function.
